Skirt for Baby Girl Ellis

Baby Girl Ellis is still nameless. And if you saw my Facebook update you know Thomas won't have a big role in naming her! Ha! Kidding. I'm sure he'll have suggestions other than Trombone, Toblerone and Don next time we sit down to discuss names.
I haven't pulled out the sewing machine in quite a while. But since finding out we're having a girl I'm excited to tackle some projects. I book marked many cute things in case our next child was a girl! And she is so here's the first piece of clothing I've made. Very simple, very cheap.
Many projects make me want to run out to buy new fabric or I sometimes need certain embellishments I don't have. But this tiny skirt is simply made from a t-shirt.
I actually used one of my t-shirts so I think it ended up a bit smaller than what a men's t-shirt would have produced. But hey, I make small babies so I think this will work fine.

Sean is 21 Months Old

Happy 21 Months to Sean!
Now loves exploring things that aren't his toys

He can also be calm and observant.

 And he loves outside time.

Sean is into everything and all over the place. .He  has a good vocabulary and adds new words often. He naps well and is very flexible. People comment on what a good baby he is, but I remind them that they don't see him at home. He tends to be a bit more cranky in our boring home. Seems like there are more "no no" things to get into.
Every month gets better and better. Thomas loves wrestling with Sean and Sean loves when dad comes home from work. Thomas makes quite the entrance and the craziness commences. Sean also loves reading books before bedtime, or anytime!
Sean has already shown he's got what it takes to be a big brother.  Sean picked up his friend's (12 mth old) pacifier from the floor and put it in the little boys mouth. I was quite surprised and figured he must have learned that at daycare. He hasn't had a paci himself in ages, but he knew it went in the baby's mouth. Next task will have to be retrieving a diaper for his sister. We love this little man and are so grateful we can call him our son.
