Toddler in a Moby Wrap and T-ball

I was curious how my Moby wrap would work on Sean. He is 2.5 years old and weighs 28 lbs (totally guessing) I know he doesn't weigh more than 35 lbs, which is the weight limit on the Moby. I was the most impressed with Sean not freaking out while I tried to get him in the wrap. Once in it he was like "book, book" so we walked over to the book shelf and he grabbed the book he's holding. I snapped some photos and we walked upstairs to show dad. I'm sure the wrap would get loose had he been in it longer, but now if for some reason I need to wrap him up I know it is possible!
On to not so weird things....like t-ball.
We went to my nephew's (age 6) first game of the season.

Watching the game was so fun! The boys are hilarious and so cute.
The little guys get yelled at (for loudness, not angry yelling) where to run, where to throw the ball, or to hold the ball. And the parents in the stands are yelling too! Many times the player misses the base and has to run back. One poor little boy missed home plate and was running right past the parent stands and everyone was yelling at him to go back to home base and pointing. And of course the coach was yelling too. The boy stood there for a good 15 seconds before figuring out what to do! (I'm sure the parents are asked not to yell but I guess it's hard to just sit and be quiet.)

All the aunts, uncles and cousins were there cheering him on.
Thomas and I both grew up playing soccer so I'm sure we'd prefer Sean play soccer. But I would love to see Sean in a cute little T-ball uniform! (no football!)
Oh man he will be out on a field with his teammates before we know it!

Week recap 3.24

Our week via pics from my iPhone.
Some pictures I uploaded to the Instagram app and some not.
Playing together...

Movie Monday...

I put the selfy camera in front of her and captured her facial progression as she saw herself...

Sean gave Thomas a wash down. He took one of the wipes I was cleaning with and started wiping Thomas. Looks like Sean wiped his head too (wet hair)...

Sean found my head phones and sang into them.
Then was trying to get Kayla to sing too.
Quite cute...

Pulling to standing like a champ...

Chocolate eggs from the Germany and pics of our sweet friends on their trip to Deutschland.

Such a big girl *sigh*, with a big ol cloth diaper booty, haha...

Here is her natural slim and trim figure! Jeggings booty! So cute!

A few days Thomas has a lab and his dismissal time varies.
So dinner was ready and we were just waiting for daddy to arrive!
( shirtless Sean : he came to me saying "help, help" while tugging at his shirt, so I took it off him. I told Thomas he must walk around the house so much with out a shirt that Sean thinks that's normal. Well, it is normal in our house.)

I WAS SO EXCITED!!
Sean got to ride in the awesome car cart at HEB this week!!! I think Sean was excited too...

Smiling at herself in selfy camera again...

Stinker getting into things...

Hope you had an awesome week. The weather here sure is warming up and I suspect we will be hitting the parks and the splash pad in no time.

Week in Pensacola II

Thursday both my sister and her husband had the entire day off so we went to the University of West Florida campus to explore the nature trail. The first part is sandy then you walk on a boardwalk the rest of the trail. There are several water ways to walk over.

We brought crackers for the fish.

Uncle Peter showing Sean where the turtles are.

Here Sean is running back to Uncle Peter so he can be picked up, haha.

Pale beauties.

Fish like Ritz crackers, right?

Then it turned into a throwing game.

We also saw my grandmother at the nursing home a few times, we ate out a few times too. We did not make it to the beach, however. Last trip to Pensacola Sean wasn't interested in the sand, meaning he would not let us even set him down in the sand! I wasn't about to get in a bathing suit, Kayla is not getting in the salt water and is the water even warm yet? So, we passed on a beach trip. Maybe next time. I also just realized we (my family) didn't even talk about visiting my Dad's grave. My mom holds no value on the burial place of my dad. And I don't think she's ready to visit it anyway.  Again, maybe next time.

Friday morning, we hit the road home! Krispy Kreme! yumyum

Sean fell asleep not long after getting on the interstate.

Just like last road trip to FL Ernie comes to the rescue again.

Such a great little colorer!

Relaxing while watching Thomas the Train on the iPad.

After many hours we finally made it to my mom's house in Houston. We had a great time visiting family! And I'm proud to say I survived the whole week with two kids without Thomas.

Week in Pensacola

Monday was an all day drive from Texas to Florida. There were plenty of stops to let the driver, my mom, and the kids stretch their legs. We even stopped at an outlet mall and I got a cute lil dress for Kayla from Osh Kosh B'Gosh. I love that store.
Sean was a happy passenger.
entertained himself well
 and a good helper
We arrived around 9:30 pm and the next day we were ready for some fun!
We hung out at the house and waited for my sister to get off from work.

Yay, Aunt Kim is home!

We headed out to a park

My mom on an interesting piece of playground equipment.
Kayla's first time in the swing!

boy stuff
FaceTime with Daddy.
Kayla recognized daddy too!

We went a local museum and checked out the kids area.
Sean got to experience the early American settler's life.

eating play corn
tree hunting?

Ate lunch at Bagel Heads. Just a couple streets back from the water.

Sean enjoyed his hotdog wrapped in bagel bread, yummm.
