9 month check up and check in

Sean had his 9 month check up on Wednesday. He weighed in at 15 lbs 5.8oz and 25 1/4 inches long. He is small, but consistently small! that's what the doc said anyway, haha. He's right on track for having been born 2 months early.

So amazing that Sean is already nine months old! He is a delight every day and truly is a great baby.

Sean you rarely cry! You fuss when you want food or when you get tired, and you rub your little eyes. You are such a good sleeper. We'll lay you down around 7pm (sometimes even 6:30)and you sleep all through the night until we wake you. It's always a joy for your dad and I to wake you in the mornings. We both get ready for work and then one of us finds a break to go wake you, but the other one of us quickly follows b/c we don't want to miss that sweet morning smile. Just this morning you were laying in your crib on your back starring at the blank ceiling. Looks like we might want to invest in a mobile for your entertainment. You can sit up all on your own. You eat some yummy baby food! Recently you gave up being a vegetarian b/c we added meat into your diet. haha. Your chicken kinda smells like cat food, but you don't seem to mind! Your motor skills are just great. You slap your hands on table tops and grab for some items with your fingers. You are such a sweet baby and we love you more and more each day!

Thank you Jesus for our sweet son! We know every day is a blessing and want to make sure Sean grows up knowing His Lord and Savior loves him even more than his parents. Oh Lord give us wisdom as we raise this little man. We'll especially be asking for that wisdom frequently when he's around age 2/3!
